The former "Poseidon" - now called the "LEO" - complex, located in Frankfurt at 2 Theodor-Heuss-Allee directly opposite the Exhibition Centre has been extensively revitalized and renovated. The 17-storey building is clad with the Closed Cavity Façade (CCF-façade) and, for the first time the closed, double-skin CCF-façade can be opened electrically via parallel opening windows in order to provide natural ventilation of the rooms. Another special feature is the external cladding consisting of glass fibre reinforced concrete elements of various shapes which create interesting light effects on their surfaces.
Scope of Work
Approx. 2,000 sqm stick system façade, approx. 10,000 sqm punched window as Closed Cavity Façade, approx. 14,000 sqm fibre-reinforced concrete cladding, canopies, plant room enclosure.
