On January 20, Josef Gartner GmbH handed a total of 20,000 euros in donations to charitable institutions. Dr. Fritz Gartner, chairman of the supervisory board, and CEO Jürgen Wax handed over the symbolic cheque at the showroom of the Gundelfingen headquarters and exchanged views on future projects of the donation recipients.

Every year, Gartner organizes a large Christmas party at its Gundelfingen site in a richly decorated production hall. Once again, more than 600 employees were accommodated in this large hall and spent an entertaining afternoon. The guests were treated to culinary delights by the Gartner canteen manager. In addition to the official programme such as the farewell and honouring of seven pensioners, the big tombola and auction have been a highlight of this event. The 2,000 tombola tickets were sold quickly, because one in four tickets was a winner. Wins included numerous prizes donated by business partners, such as iPads, an automatic coffee machine and a TV screen. All in all, the employees collected a handsome amount of money, which the company rounded up to a total of 20,000 euros.

In 2020, the following regional social institutions received donations: Kindergarten St. Peter & Paul in Peterswörth, Kindergarten St. Martin in Gundelfingen, Montessori St. Franziskus Kindergarten in Gundelfingen, St. Nikolaus KJF Vocational training and youth welfare centre in Dürrlauingen, ASB RV Dillingen-Donau-Ries e.V., and charities such as Wünschewagen in Wertingen, Kleine Patienten in Not e. V. / Trösterbären für die Region Dillingen, Animal Welfare Association Dillingen e. V. / Animal home Höchstädt, cf-initiative-aktiv e.V./ Cystic fibrosis association Southern Bavaria.
