Do you want to start working right after school? With us you will find a job that suits you. We hire construction mechanics, design draftsmen, industrial clerks and dual students at the start of each training period in autumn. At Gartner, you can expect excellent in-company training. Our apprentices are regularly among the best graduates of their year at regional, state or even national level. During your apprenticeship we focus on learning and working in different departments. Our detailed individual training plans ensure variety but also the ideal combination of theoretical knowledge from vocational school with practical tasks in the specialist areas. You will get to know different business areas, gain insights into our exciting projects and slowly grow into more and more challenging tasks.
Through intensive training units in various areas and accompanying development instruments, we specifically promote skills that will also help you later on: communication skills, initiative and independence as well as problem solving skills.

We have always relied on our in-company training. We know that the best specialists are those we have trained ourselves. If your performance is right, we will be happy to make you a takeover offer.
Before you are invited to take part actively in the first major construction projects, you will learn all the necessary manual skills during your basic training at our teaching workshop as a construction mechanic. This includes all the basics in the areas of steel and metal construction, welding technology, sheet metal construction and equipment technology.

You will spend focused longer training units in the purchasing, human resources and finance departments. Microsoft Excel and Word, but also SAP are part of your daily tools of the trade. You organize appointments; manage data, check data and control processes. During your training, you will learn everything about the administration and control of business processes in an international company.

During your training you will learn how to design components and assembly plans with the help of computer programs. For example, you will calculate the size of components, differentiate between different materials depending on the intended use and finally determine the assembly technology. The preparation of parts lists is just as much a part of your tasks as the final assessment of the implementation of design drafts.

Check? Then Technical Systems Designer (m/f/d) is the right apprenticeship for you!
As a prospective engineer (m/f/d), you will work from the outset to realise facades for the most modern buildings and to break new ground in the process. You will learn to accept constructional challenges and to find creative solutions. In addition to construction, logistics and calculation, you will also gain insight into the project management of our façade projects during your practical assignments. After graduating, you will have the best chance of taking on interesting and challenging assignments within our company.

How do I apply?
Applications for the start of training of the following year will be accepted as from July. Please submit a letter of motivation, curriculum vitae and relevant certificates via our job page.
How does the application process work?
After receiving your application, you will first receive a confirmation that we have received your application. The examination of the documents might take some time. If you are shortlisted, we will invite you to an assessment day or placement for applicants. You will then be invited to an assessment test and interview with Gartner's apprentices’ managers. There you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself, especially why you would like to do an apprenticeship at Gartner.

Does Gartner also offer (taster) internships?
Every year during Easter holidays we offer taster internships for interested pupils from 8th grade onwards.

You can get to know us at the major job fairs in the region, e.g. Fit for Job in Höchstädt or IBS in Günzburg. You can also find us at BIT in Würzburg. The current dates will be published in the daily newspapers.

Wenn du in die engere Auswahl kommst, laden wir dich zu einem Assessment-Tag oder Bewerberpraktikum ein. Das Praktikum bietet dir die Möglichkeit, den Ausbildungsberuf kennenzulernen, sowie deine eigenen Fähigkeiten im Hinblick auf die gewählte Ausbildungsrichtung zu überprüfen. Zum Abschluss folgen ein Einstellungstest und ein Bewerbungsgespräch mit den Ausbildungsverantwortlichen von Gartner.
