The 450 m high Suzhou IFS is located in the new CBD overlooking Jinji Lake. The tower is designed to accommodate a mix of program and is comprised of Grade A office space plus a 129-room premium sky hotel with full scenery of Suzhou in the main tower (Phase 1), luxury serviced apartments within the lower podium annex (Phase 2) and retail spaces in the connected lower building (Phase 3).
HEIGHT
450 m / 1476 ft
98 stories tall
It is directly connected to the new metro station. At the top of the tower, there are restaurants and the highest wedding hall on the planet. The design of the tower is reminiscent of a fish, a symbol of prosperity for a city where the water has historically played a major role in the history and identity. This form and the orientation, together with the way the west facing façade is articulated, diminish much of the heat and glare while bringing more natural daylight to the internal spaces. Clad with a high-performance glazing to mitigate solar loading, the tower is LEED Gold®.
Design, supply, manufacture, transportation, installation and test of around 116,100 sqm (1,249,700 sq ft) of unitized curtain wall for the three Phases.
