EDGE East Side Berlin is an office high-rise in Berlin-Friedrichshain district. The 140 meter (459 ft) high building, featuring a striking façade structure, will be built at the southern end of the Waschauer bridge and inaugurated in 2023. With a total of 36 floors, the project will stand out prominently against the surrounding buildings.
High-rise building façade: fully unitized double-skin aluminum curtain wall, with motorized venetian blinds in the naturally ventilated façade cavity.
Screen wall (ventilated façade): fully unitized aluminum curtain wall.
Terrace façades: fully unitized aluminum curtain wall with full-height swing doors, sliding doors, glass balustrades and opaque wall units at the ends of the balcony terraces.
Ground floor glass façade: steel stick-system including revolving doors. Opaque visual cladding of the technical storeys in the roof area.
Podium façade: pre-unitized window façade with aluminum profiles, one and two story high, respectively, including access door systems and revolving doors; soffit cladding on terrace façades and skyscraper base.
