The museum building has an area of more than 10,000 sqm (107,600 sq ft) and extends over five hectares. Approximately 3,000 sqm (32,300 sq ft) are used as exhibition galleries. Other rooms are used for meetings, symposia, commemorations, and ceremonies.
The building consists of approx. 1,250 sqm (13,450 sq ft) steel glass façades, approx. 300 sqm (3,200 sq ft) of glass fin façades, and approx. 250 sqm (2,700 sq ft) of cable façade.
